Club organizer Albert Steg had good fortune at the 7th Merit Open in Kyrenia, North Cyprus last week. In a blockbuster field of 338 players in the Masters Division, his two wins in the Main draw and five wins in the 2nd Chance was good for a 9th/12th finish and a handsome glass trophy. Steg was the last USA player standing.
